Andreas Ioannides is an artist from Ammohostos, Cyprus. His artistic name is Artiste Antre and he is painting for the last 26 years.

Unfortunately 8 years ago he has suffered an electrical shock, leaving him with permanent aesthetic-myoco-neuropathy with muscle weakness and 80% disability. Since then he can only paint. He loves and adores art and has taken place in more than 70 solo and group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad, representing his country and receiving many awards and distinctions. Fortunately, all this did not succeed in depriving him of the opportunity to dream, hope and create. Expressing his feelings and thoughts through colours has always been a part of his life. In his works he mainly uses oil on canvas but often experiments with other materials which are divided into two categories, the first with rough, abstract touches and fancy colours, reminiscent of abstract expressionism and the second with geometric shapes in pure forms, divided by soft touches and colour levels reminiscent of cubism.
